Sailing The Pacific

Go Sailing on the Pacific

Sailing serves as a beautiful metaphor for healthy living. “We can adjust our sails, and choose our course, but we can’t control the wind!”

A favorite outing is a weekend, overnight sailing excursion among the beautiful Chiriqui Gulf Islands. Depending upon weather conditions, many guests have the opportunity to go sailing on Decision, a beautiful Beneteau First 36.7 racing/cruiser sailboat (36′). She is a beautiful yacht with the finest of craftsmanship and equipment.

Skipper John will skillfully, and safely, ‘show you the ropes’, and help you ‘adjust your sails’.

Always fun, exciting, and magnificenlty beautiful. Your time out on the ocean, at one with nature, will provide you a new vista on life!

Decision is moored in beautiful pristine protected Pacific waters, a 2 hour drive away from Serenity Vista, near the quaint little fishing village of Boca Chica.

No sailing experience is necessary. If you have a sailing background, you’ll not want to miss this opportunity to take the helm and explore these gorgeous waters on this incredible boat. If you’re a novice, all the greater the opportunity to experience and learn something new!

Participate in the abundance of the Pacific

The Pacific waters off Panama are some of the most beautiful waters for sailing in the world. We’ll stop for swims and snorkeling, catch fish for dinner, explore deserted islands, and enjoy some of the worlds most pristine beaches.

You will experience acceptance (of what weather Mother Nature provides), gratitude (for the abundance that nourishes your mind, body and soul), and being fully present and aware in the moment. Regret, resentment, anxiety and fear will vanish.

Your Decision

Serenity Vista’s yacht is named ‘DECISION’, in reference to Step 3 of Alcoholic’s Anonymous: ‘Made a DECISION to turn our will and lives over to the care of God, as we understood Him’.

Make a Decision. This is the pivot point of every manifestation or change in our lives. Everything starts with a Decision. And once you make a good Decision, you need to trust it, not second guess, and move forward with complete abandon.

Sailing Decision is just that. A sound vessel to move forward through whatever waters nature presents. Sailing becomes a process of change, based upon faith, and, at times, hard work.

What is your Decision? Are you ready to embrace your new life of recovery?
