Endorsement of Serenity Vista
Dr. Philip J. Flores *
I endorse Serenity Vista as a top quality, leading edge, addiction treatment center….I would recommend Serenity Vista as a beautiful destination to get away to and receive the help you need. It is the most well rounded, compassionate, and reasonably priced program I have encountered over my decades of working in this field.
I have dedicated my career over more than thirty years to understanding, teaching and treating addiction. Through my extensive professional travels, when recently in beautiful Panama presenting at an addiction conference, I had the opportunity to meet and interact with John Derry, Founding Director of Serenity Vista. He stood out as a professional with an extensive background in addiction treatment, and it was apparent that he is a skilled clinician and master therapist.
I have subsequently come to know of the treatment program he leads, Serenity Vista. I am impressed with the depth and quality of the program it offers. Not only is it located in a beautiful, tropical location where I hope to travel again, but the program offered at Serenity Vista is outstanding, offering some unique features that set it apart from traditional treatment centers in North America.
John, Canadian himself with American graduate-level training, has assembled an outstanding multidisciplinary team of American credentialed professional therapists. Their program is a unique integration of a solid 12 step philosophy with complementary therapies, individualized for an ideal sized group of no more than 6 guests.
Serenity Vista’s approach is novel: a healthy blend of professional and holistic therapies, with fun and stimulating outdoor adventure, in a respectful home-like setting. A real, whole life recovery immersion experience. Their highly integrative and individualized approach leads the way in offering compassionate holistic healing in all aspects of body, mind and spirit. Their therapeutic approach aligns nicely with the most current scientific understandings of addiction and the important role of twelve step philosophy and fellowship.
I endorse Serenity Vista as a top quality, leading edge, addiction treatment center. I would recommend it for any English speaking person struggling with alcohol, drugs or other forms of addiction. Serenity Vista’s fee structure offers exceptional value, a fraction of the cost of comparable quality programs in the USA.
If you have been advised to go to alcohol or drug rehab, I would recommend Serenity Vista as a beautiful destination to get away to and receive the help you need. It is the most well rounded, compassionate, and reasonably priced program I have encountered over my decades of working in this field.
